LYN Eberhart believes it should always be tea time.

As a member of the Wollondilly Art Group, she interpreted their latest It's About Time theme as a way of encouraging people to take time for themselves and others.

``My clock for the project resembles what I see as the four most important parts of the day: the early morning, the later morning, the afternoon and the evening,'' Eberhart said.

``The design helps to show how our moods can change so much in this short amount of time.

``We need to remember to take a break for ourselves, to give time to others and to make a positive difference in the world.''

Eberhart made the clock through silkscreen printing.

``Putting the clock together would have only taken a few hours, except that sourcing and painting the various numbers and markings took a few hours on their own,'' she said.

Eberhart has been a member of the Wollondilly Art Group for more than six years.

She said the group was formed to bring together, encourage and support local artists.

``It truly helped me to keep my artistic side alive,'' Eberhart

said.

The clocks by the group will be on display at Wollondilly's tourist office and will then be sold at the creative markets.

Wollondilly Art Group meets on the first Saturday of each month at the community nursery in Picton.
