Rotary sets dancers in motion

28 Oct, 2009 12:00 AM
LOCALS will dance the night away at a carnivale-themed dinner dance at The Oaks next month.

The Rotary Club of Wollondilly North will hold its third annual dinner-dance on Saturday, November 14.

The three-course dinner and dance will begin at 6pm in community hall on Russell Street.

Rotary president Stuart Dench said he hoped the dance would lift community spirit and bring The Oaks to life.

``The Oaks used to have lots of dances and things like this,'' he said.

``It's a great night together to dance the night away with local people.''

Local band Midnight Express will perform and there will be raffle tickets and lucky door prizes up for grabs.

Masks will also be available for locals to purchase on the night.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children under 12.

The money raised will support mental-health research.

Details, tickets: Lorri 46772885 or 0410216369.
