Woman in critical condition

An 18-year-old Bargo woman was taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition after a head-on collision on Remembrance Drive, Bargo just after 2.30pm, yesterday (Wednesday, February 8).

The police said the woman was being treated in the intensive care unit with head and abdominal injuries.

A 20-year-old Bargo man who was driving the other vehicle was taken to Liverpool Hospital with a fractured ankle.

This road is signposted at 100kph where this happened which I believe is 20kph too fast for a goat track remembrance Dr is.
