YOUNG cricketers from Picton Public School and Campbelltown Collegians Cricket Club test had the thrill of a lifetime last week at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

They took part in the Milo in2Cricket on-field demonstration during the lunch break of the Test match between Australia and Pakistan.

The six-to-12-week junior cricket program is based on fun and involvement for children aged between five and 10 and offers them the chance to develop cricket skills, physical fitness, social skills, sportsmanship and an understanding of the game.

Last season there were more than 1200 Milo in2cricket clubs and centres with about 40,000 participants in Australia.

Australian cricketer Michael Clarke said the on-field demonstrations were a fantastic experience for the boys and girls.
