ORANGEVILLE motor racing driver Daniel Erickson (right) is asking people to help him become a Formula One racing driver.
A fund-raising auction night has been organised to help Erickson, 21, and the Starlight Foundation, at Campbelltown Catholic Club on July 10.
A member of the Confederation of Australian Motorsport's elite international rising star squad, Erickson is competing in the British Formula Ford Championship.
Sporting items being auctioned at the fund-raiser include helmets autographed by Mark Webber and Casey Stoner, as well as a long list of signed sports memorabilia.
Tickets to the fund-raiser will cost $55, which includes a two-course dinner.
For every ticket sold, $5 will go to the Starlight Foundation.
