Police pursuit finishes in Picton on March 21, search underway for one person involved

Updated story (Tuesday, 3.45pm):

The police search continues for a person allegedly involved in a police pursuit south of Sydney this afternoon.

Camden Local Area Command (LAC) crime manager Jayne Doherty said a police pursuit started in the “Goulburn/Yass area” on March 21 and finished in Picton.

Ms Doherty said one of the people involved in the pursuit had been arrested, while a search was underway to find a second person.

There were rumours on social media that the second person had been discovered, but Ms Doherty said the search was still underway.

It is understood the investigation included a search through Tahmoor this afternoon.

Ms Doherty said one of the people involved in the pursuit had been arrested, while a search was underway to find a second person.

As of 3.20pm, Ms Doherty said the search was still underway in the Picton area.
