If you don't want your bub's moniker to appear on the 2017 top baby names list, then we have a couple of hundred names to avoid.
Popular baby name site Nameberry has released the 100 most-searched girls and boys names of the past six months - and they're a mix of old favourites with a few new surprises.
Olivia claimed the top spot for girls names, hinting that its popularity is far from over. The moniker was the second most popular name given to baby girls in Australia last year.
Coming in at second place was Amelia, followed by Charlotte, the top Aussie girls name of 2016, and Isla, which is also climbing up the Australian charts.
The most searched boys name, Asher, was far less predictable. Of Hebrew origin, and meaning "fortunate, blessed, happy one", Asher appeared ahead of Atticus, Jack and Ezra.
Of these names, only Jack featured in the top 50 boys names in Australia from 2016, taking out the third spot on the list.
There are also two new additions to the top ten: Theodore and Jasper.
The fastest climbing names of 2017 are also surprising, with lots of lovely monikers to choose from. Evelyn, Amara and Ada lead the charge up the girls baby name charts, along with Ophelia, Isabel and Naomi.
Some other unusual standouts include: Cora, Hazel, Esme, Nora, Sadie, Willa, Saskia and Evangeline.
As for the boys, the fastest rising monikers include: Kai, Cassius, George, Jude and Finn. George snuck in at number 37 for Aussie baby boys last year, suggesting that parents are taking Royal inspiration from William and Kate.
A number of brand new names made it into the boys most searched list this year, indicating that 2017 may well see a toppling of some of the stalwarts from years' gone by.
There are some classics: Edward, Charlie, Lucas and Jonathon, but there are some newcomers, too.
Everett, Dante, Kane, Xander and Magnus appear in the top 100 names parents are considering for their sons in 2017, along with Rhett, Maverick and Winston.
Not a fan of any of these? Aryan, Soren, Gideon, Lucian, Beckett and Griffin are all names perused over the past six months.
