A host of Macarthur’s best up-and-coming performers will battle it out for their chance to play in front of a huge Campbelltown audience next weekend.

Several acts will perform for judges at the Greg Percival Community Centre on Saturday, July 29 in the hopes of being picked for the Fisher’s Gig line-up.

Fisher’s Gig is a platform for performers aged 12-24 to play in front of a massive Campbelltown crowd and it has been going since 1998.

Bringing the noise: Solo artist Lara Dabbagh will stretch her pipes.

The event will be held as part of the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost in November at Bradbury Oval.

Artists who have made it to the heats include As We Fall, Alister Marshall, Hannah Mitchell, Helios, Lara Dabbagh, Rose Cole, Silver Strings, Snoteleks, Stone Rock, The Shang, The Winter Effect and Third Hour.
