Looking for a spot of colour and culture this weekend?
Why not check out the Diwali Festival at Willowdale in Denham Court?
The event is based on an ancient Hindu festival, celebrated each year in October and November.
The festival will feature live music and dancers, a Bollywood dance workshop, Henna artists, lantern decorating craft stations and a photo booth.
Kids will also enjoy a jumping castle, inflatable slide, face-painting and balloon artistry.
Indian cuisine and coffee will also be available.
Stockland general manager for NSW Richard Rhydderch said the festival was the perfect way for residents to celebrate culture.
“It is a fantastic opportunity for all members of the community to learn more about Hindu traditions,” he said.
The Diwali festival runs 10am-1pm this Saturday, October 14 at the Willowdale Display Village on Willowdale Drive.
