Charity car show fuels mental health awareness

Rev your engine for a day of family fun at the inaugural charity car show ‘Cars for a Cause’ at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park on Sunday, November 12.

Motoring enthusiasts can see a variety of makes, models, shapes and sizes including a 1954 Chevrolet, Mercedes Benz and Tesla.

The event, organised by Auto West Paint Supplies, is aimed at fueling awareness and driving home the importance of men’s mental health.

All proceeds will go to Beyond Blue and the Black Dog Institute.

Entry to the event is $5 for adults and no cost for kids under 18. It opens at 10am to 3.30pm.

Locals can enter a vehicle in the showcase, the cost is $20 which includes admission.

There are no restrictions on the era, make or model of the vehicle that can be entered.

All are encouraged to show off their pride and joy whether it be a car, motorbike or truck.

There are plenty of other activities on offer including market stalls for motoring enthusiasts, DIY demos, live music, food vans, a sausage sizzle and raffles.

The show will also feature a kids corner with jumping castles and activities to keep the whole family entertained.
