Noni B employee allegedly threatened with knife at Narellan Town Centre

A woman has been charged with armed robbery after she allegedly threatened a Noni B employee at Narellan Town Centre this morning.

The woman was arrested by police at the scene.

The 29-year-old woman was allegedly armed with a kitchen knife when as she waited for employees to open the store about 8.50am.

She then allegedly fled the area with cash before being stopped by a member of the public who called police.

She was charged with robbery while armed with an offensive weapon and larceny.

She was refused bail to face Campbelltown Local Court today.

The area around the Noni B store – at the Woolworths end of the Camden Valley Way shopping centre – was closed off with police tape for several hours after the incident as forensic photographers catalogue the scene.
