What does it mean to be a bogan?

Is it a love of ACDC? Owning a fashionable pair of ugg boots? Or knowing the feeling of a cool breeze as it flows through your mullet?

Actor, comedian and film maker Pauly Fenech answers all of those questions in his new book, The Bogan Bible.

This is Pauly’s first book following his career of writing, directing, producing and starring in television and movies including Swift n Shift Couriers, Housos, Bogan Hunters and Fat Pizza.

Pauly won a Logie in 2014 for Most Outstanding Light Entertainment Program with Housos

The Bogan Bible argues that bogans embody all of the great aspects of Australian culture – being carefree, individual, wild, loyal, honest and humorous people who live fast and passionately.

In fact, Pauly argues that many of us are bogans in denial.

Fairfax Community Newspapers has 10 copies of The Bogan Bible to giveaway.  To win a copy of the book simply tell us in 25 words or fewer, what makes you a bit of a bogan?
