Two children have been taken to hospital after they were hit by a taxi in North Sydney on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway near Rocklands Road at 11am after reports of two pedestrians being hit by a car, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said.

The children, believed to be aged eight and 10, were hit by a taxi while crossing the road, a police spokeswoman said.
The eight-year-old boy was conscious, breathing and had a graze on his head and the 10-year-old girl was also alert but had reportedly hit her head, according to paramedics.
The 60-year-old taxi driver was also alert, and all three were transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
NSW Ambulance Acting Inspector Shaun Kelly said the children were lucky to escape without serious injuries.
"Initially there was a bit of concern for the boy who had some abrasions to the head," he said.
"However, after assessing both children as well as [the] driver, we were relieved to find that their injuries were relatively minor.
"This was a lucky escape and a good reminder for the public to stay vigilant around roads over the school holiday period."
The Pacific Highway was partially closed between Hazelbank Road and Rocklands Road due to the crash, but has since been reopened.
Police were investigating the incident, and were speaking with the taxi driver, the police spokeswoman said.
