Australia Day in Camden is an event not to be missed.
Thousands of people lined Argyle Street from as early as 9am to catch a glimpse of the popular Macarthur Lions Australia Day parade.
The parade featured local bands and musicians, classic cars, air force cadets, police and fire representatives along with various community groups and local schools.
In some places along the town’s main street crowds were four rows deep.
The community joined together before the parade started to sing the Australian National Anthem.
The parade’s MC was Camden business owner Steve Wisbey.
He kept the crowd entertained and informed while the parade was in full swing.
Children and families also enjoyed a range of activities on John Street including face painting, a jumping castles and Australiana-themed games.
