Prabhedeep Singh will face Melbourne Magistrates Court on slavery and child porn charges.
A Melbourne man accused of keeping a woman as a slave and possessing child pornography is due to face a three-day committal hearing.
Prabhedeep Singh, of Pakenham, is also charged with possessing nandrolone, an illegal anabolic steroid.
According to court documents, police allege Singh intentionally exercised ownership over a slave for seven weeks, between August 22, 2015, and October 8, 2015, in Melbourne.
During a court appearance in October the alleged victim was given permission to give her evidence via a recording.
Singh was granted bail during the same appearance.
He is due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday for the hearing to determine if he should stand trial.
