Bunnings Warehouse Gregory Hills will open in April.
The iconic hardware chain took over the old Masters warehouse along Camden Valley at Gregory Hills.
Bunnings general manager of property Andrew Marks said conversion and reformatting works were currently under way at the site.
“[Work] is progressing as planned at the new Bunnings Warehouse Gregory Hills site,” he said.
“The new site is expected to create over 170 new jobs once open and will span over 13,000 square metres.
“Our new store will enable us to continue to offer local residents convenient access to our wide range of home improvement and outdoor living products.
“We will continue to update the Gregory Hills community as the development progresses.”
A Bunnings spokeswoman confirmed recruitment for the jobs available at the site was only weeks away.
