All the action from the 2018 Campbelltown City Challenge Walk

The sun was shining, the air was fresh and the scenery was delightful as hordes of locals took part in the annual Campbelltown City Challenge Walk this morning.

Held each year at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan, the walk is hosted by Campbelltown Council to foster healthier lifestyles in Macarthur residents.

The event allows competitors to traverse either a 6-kilometre or an 11-kilometre course throughout the botanic garden’s picturesque paths.

The overall winner in the 6-kilometre division was Davor Zailac, who has crossed the finish line first in the past, while Ryan Thomson took first place in the longer course.

Bianca Gannan was the fastest-finishing female in the short course and Cheryl Webb took out first female in the 11-kilometre section.

Both women finished third overall in their course.
