Dedicated service makes worries disappear

Just recently I had to take my Ford Festiva back to the Ford service department at Campbelltown.

Many thanks have to go to the service manager Darren Berrell, whose dedication and commitment to service made sure that all my worries regarding my car were solved.

Without the help from Mr Berrell, and the members of his team, I really didn't know what I was going to do.

Time for Wollondilly to shine

In response to Wollondilly mayor Col Mitchell's letter, "Business awards made community proud", Wollondilly Advertiser, June 24.

Cr Mitchell congratulated all the Wollondilly businesses who either won or were nominated in the recent Camden Wollondilly Business awards held, as usual, at Camden Civic Centre recently.

I too congratulate all the Wollondilly businesses that either won or were nominated.

However, the issue I see with the awards is, as the name suggests, the Camden Wollondilly Business Awards — but it has been several years since the presentation was held in Wollondilly.

I think for Wollondilly Council to continue to support the awards, the presentation needs to alternate between Wollondilly and Camden, with the awards next year being held in Wollondilly.

If this cannot be done, the council in conjunction with the local business chambers, should consider holding their own business awards in Wollondilly, for the businesses in Wollondilly.
