Three-day music festival heading to Campbelltown

A three-day music festival will be coming to Campbelltown before June next year.
Campbelltown Council announced it had received a $20,000 grant to make the event – set to be named Campbelltown bEat Street – a reality.
The funding was obtained through the Create NSW Live and Local Strategic Initiative Program.
Council said the aim of the event was to create a spectacle that improved Campbelltown CBD’s atmosphere through live performance.
The event will also be a chance for local artists to showcase their talents and it will also provide a boost for local businesses.
Exact dates and further information – including acts – will be announced at a later date.
Wollongong hosted a two-day music festival on the weekend. The Yours and Owls Festival attracted a host of big name artists including At The Drive In.
Menangle rockers The Rubens have also played at Yours and Owls in previous years.
