Man remains in stable condition following Elderslie shooting incident

A police investigation is underway after a man was shot in Elderslie in the early hours of Saturday morning.

About 1.40am on Saturday, emergency services personnel attended Geary Place, where they found a 34-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to his leg.

He was taken to Campbelltown Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers attached to Camden Local Area Command, with the assistance of the Dog Unit, conducted a search of the area.

However, no-one was located.

A crime scene was established at the location.
