It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's Justin Trudeau disguised as Clark Kent, aka Superman, for Halloween, much to the surprise of parliamentarians as he entered the House of Commons for question time.
It is not unusual for Trudeau to sport slicked-down hair and a blue suit with a bright red tie, but his wide-rimmed spectacles were the giveaway to assembled staff and journalists of the Halloween surprise the 45-year-old Canadian Prime Minister had in store.
As he descended down the stairs, Trudeau apparently quipped that it was a shock to witness the Prime Minister dressed as one of the fellow journalists there, but "it has to be done," before opening his button down shirt to expose the Superman symbol underneath.

Later the father-of-three was still in character when took his youngest son Hadrien, dressed as Paw Patrol character Skye, trick-or-treating at Rideau Hall.

Trudeau, who has a penchant for wearing vibrant ties and socks, also has a history of celebrating Halloween, donning a Star Wars' Han Solo costume during his first year in office.
Last year he also went as a pilot from the French children's book Le Petit Prince, while Hadrien went as the title character.
Social media gave Trudeau their tick of approval for his creative outfit.
