The Campbelltown-Camden Ghosts first grade cricket side suffered the first loss of the season on the weekend.
Heading into the game against Parramatta, the table-topping Ghosts side boasted a record of seven wins and two draws from nine games.
However, even a 135 from opener Aaron Yabsley couldn’t save the locals at Raby Cricket Fields.
Yabsley’s performance was by far the best with the bat for the Ghosts with the second top scorer, Jordan Browne, falling one short of his half century.
Trent Crittenden was the chief destroyer for Parramatta, recording figures of 3/33 off 15 overs.
With the bat it was Brenton Cherry (103) and Scott Copperfield (90) who performed some magic, helping earn a sixth victory for the year for the away side. Samuel Skelly was the Ghosts best with the ball, finishing with figures of 3/44 off 16 overs.
Oliver Pope provided a safe pair of hands in the field, collecting four catches for the match.
