First designs released for Gregory Hills cinema

United Cinemas has released the first designs of the proposed cinema complex set to open at Gregory Hills next year.

The huge entertainment precinct which will encompass the cinemas is planned for the corner of Lasso and Steer roads.

The cinema itself is proposed to feature nine screens, including two ‘grand theatres’ – one of which would be the largest cinema screen in south-west Sydney.

A United Cinemas spokesman said the complex would be a great place for the family.

“This entertainment facility will provide a number of indoor recreational facilities and several food and beverage options, with onsite parking,” he said.

“This building will be a hive of activity for all ages at the one location.”

The cinema is expected to seat 1800 people.
