Camden has gone through a few changes in recent years and a proposed development right on the town’s doorstep could be one of the biggest changes yet.
Sydney-based developers Nations Wealth Pty Ltd have submitted a development application to build a large two-storey function centre, restaurant and hotel at Elderslie.
The development, if approved, would be located next to Sadek Motor Group with entrances via Camden Valley Way and Harrington Street, Elderslie.
The proposed development includes a 100-seat restaurant, a 350-person function centre, 80 accommodation rooms and 250 parking spaces – including an underground parking garage.
The ultra-modern design includes a brick and rendered facade, large windows and outdoor balcony.
Camden Council is unlikely to be the consent authority for this application.
The regional IHAP will have responsibility for approving or rejecting the proposed development.
The Advertiser has sought more details about the application from the project’s development manager Michael Viscovich.
At the time of publishing the Advertiser had not received a response from Mr Viscovich.
