A dead whale has washed up on a beach in Victoria’s south-west.
Whale enthusiast and photographer Bob McPherson snapped the images on Saturday.
“It appears to be a blue whale that has died down near the Fitzroy River area,” he said.
“These are the biggest whales in the word and very rare.
“These whales can grow up to 30 metres long and up to 170 tonnes.”
