Here’s your chance to munch on some Maccas and support a good cause.

Fourteen McDonald’s restaurants across Macarthur are hosting Charity Fun Nights in August to raise funds for 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur.

The fun nights will take place from 5pm to 7pm or from 3pm to 5pm in food court restaurants on Wednesday, August 22.

Ten per cent of the proceeds from the events will go to the charity to help fund Macarthur-based cancer services.

Macarthur McDonald’s licensee Peter Meadows encouraged local residents to head to their closest Macca’s to help out.

“Charity Fun Nights are an easy way for the community to assist 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur in providing support to people currently going through cancer treatment,” he said.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to support the local Macarthur community, we’re incredibly proud to play an active role in raising funds for such a worthy cause.”

The participating restaurants are Narellan Town Centre, Macarthur Square, Campbelltown Mall, Campbelltown, Minto, Glenquarie, Woodbine, Mt Annan, Eagle Vale, Narellan, Rosemeadow, Camden, Gregory Hills and Emerald Hills.

McDonald’s Macarthur restaurants have been proud supporters of 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur for more than 10 years.

The charity supports Macarthur residents with equipment and services they need to assist in the treatment, care and comfort of children and adults dealing with cancer.
