Grab your dancing shoes and prepare to boogie the night away when The McClymontscome to town next month.
The popular country music trio – consisting of sisters Brooke, Mollie and Sam – will perform at The Cube, Campbelltown Catholic Club on October 6.
Eldest sister Brooke told the Advertiser that she couldn’t wait to perform in Campbelltown.
Brooke said music lovers could “expect an intense but fun” show at The Cube.
“It will be the fifth time we’ve performed in Campbelltown and we have some amazing fans around that area,” she said.
“It will be lovely to get back to Campbelltown and we encourage people to bring their dancing shoes.
“We will play a mix of old favourites, cover songs, slow ballards and some three-part harmonies.”
The McClymonts formed in 2006 and Brooke said the sisters were not planning on retirement any time soon.
“We still have a great love for what we do and get a real buzz singing together,” she said.
“We all get along really well. It’s still fun and we enjoy performing on stage.”
The McClymonts have been on tour since July to promote their fifth studio album – Endless – released in 2017.
The Endless tour began last year but was postponed after Sam gave birth to her first child in August.
Brooke said the siblings were “absolutely thrilled” to resume the tour.
“My favourite part of performing is when people sing our words back to us on stage,” she said.
“You get a real kick out of it and that’s when we know that we’re doing our job well.”
Brooke said The McClymonts had enjoyed plenty of career highlights, including performing with The Wiggles, but maintaining their close family bond was their biggest achievement.
“We are all mums now so we have to make sure that we don’t burn ourselves out with touring,” she said.
“We’re also not producing albums as quickly as we used to. But there is definitely a new album in the pipeline.”
The McClymonts will perform at Campbelltown Catholic Club’s The Cube on Saturday, October 6. Doors open at 7.15pm. Tickets start at $40.
