Small Macarthur business owners can plant the seeds for success by joining a new economic gardening program.

Offered by Campbelltown Council, the program includes specialised coaching and a series of workshops to help identify opportunities for improvement.

Campbelltown mayor George Brticevic encouraged all local business owners to take part in the program.

“This is a real opportunity for entrepreneurs to build on their strengths and take their business to the next level and reach more markets outside of our region,’’ he said.

“Small businesses are the back bone of our economy and supporting their development will have a positive impact on our community by bringing more opportunities, employment, goods and services into Campbelltown.”

The program covers the main areas of customer relationship management, digital strategy and social media, financial management, and advanced marketing and innovation.

Places are limited to 40 people. The workshops will be held from March to June 2019.

Interested applicants are invited to submit their expressions of interest by February 28.

Successful candidates will be notified in early March.
