A man was transferred to hospital after he flipped and landed his car in the back of a tipper truck in Macquarie Fields on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Evelyn Street about 3pm on January 9.
A NSW Police spokesperson said the 38-year-old man, driving a Holden Astra, hit a trailer ramp which caused the vehicle to flip and land in the rear of a nearby parked truck.
No-one was in the truck at the time.
The Astra driver was trapped for a short time as emergency service crews worked to free him.
He was assessed by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with a shoulder injury.
The man was the sole occupant in the Astra.
The NSW Police spokesperson said it was unclear if speed was a factor in the incident.
