A man has been charged after he allegedly discharged a firearm in an unsafe manner in Cawdor on Saturday afternoon.
Another man was jogging along Cawdor Road when he allegedly heard two shots travel past him about 3.45pm on Saturday, March 9.
The 50-year-old man feared for his safety, flagging down a passing motorist and calling police.
Camden Police Area Command officers searched the area.
Following inquiries, police spoke with a 28-year-old man who was using a firearm at a property on Westbrook Road, Cawdor.
He was arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with using a firearm disregarding public safety; and using a firearm in a manner likely to injure a person or property.
Several firearms were seized and his firearms licence was surrendered.
The Riverstone man was granted bail to appear at Picton Local Court on April 9.
