An Edmondson Park mum was delighted to discover today that she secured a $200,000 Lucky Lotteries win.
The woman, aged in her 30s, won the guaranteed first prize of $200,000 in the Lucky Lotteries mega jackpot draw 1285, drawn on Friday, April 12.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she initially thought her win was a scam.
"I called my husband after I checked my online account and he didn't believe it," he said.
"He thought it was a a scam. I tried to convince him otherwise but he wouldn't believe me. I am so glad it isn't.
"I can't even explain how much this means to me and how I feel right now."
The woman said she bought the winning ticket "on a whim".
"I went on to the app and I saw the jackpot was huge so I just bought a ticket. It was a completely spur of the moment decision," she shared.
"I never thought I would win $200,000.
"I have won $15, $10, and other small prizes like this, but nothing ever as big as this one. It is a shock."
The Edmondson Park said she she had plans to "completely change" her family's life.
"This will change our life. It will be such a help," she said.
"I will put some towards our mortgage, give some to my family and then we will take our family on a beautiful holiday to the beach.
"I have a young family, so we will put some towards our kid's school fees too."
