Two men have been charged with murder after a teenager died at a 16th birthday party in Ingleburn on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to Chester Road about 9.40pm on Friday, May 24 following reports of a brawl involving a large group of people.
The brawl is understood to have begun during a house party, before it spilled onto the street.
Campbelltown police arrived and the crowd began to disperse.
Local police were assisted by the Public Order and Riot Squad, the Dog Unit, Police Rescue, Police Transport Command, and other South-West Metropolitan Region Police Area Commands officers.
Emergency service crews found an 18-year-old man with serious head injuries on the roadside.
He was treated by paramedics, who conveyed him to Liverpool Hospital, where he died.
Several crime scenes were established and several weapons - including a baseball bat and golf club, along with wooden and metal poles - were seized for forensic examination.
Police searched an Eagle Vale home on Sunday, May 26 and arrested two male teenagers, aged 17 and 18.
They were taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where both were charged with murder.
They were refused bail to appear in court today (Monday, May 27).
The juvenile will appear at Campbelltown Children's Court and the 18-year-old will appear at Campbelltown local court today.
Police also searched a home in Campbelltown, where several items were seized.
One man was charged with destroying or damaging property, and illegally entering a premises without permission.
Police allege the man ran from police and forced entry to a Chester Road unit, before he was arrested nearby.
The Cabramatta man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
The three other men were released pending further inquiries.
