An exciting new park has just been unveiled in Gregory Hills today.
Dart West Developments created Howard Park, which will be owned and operated by Camden Council, to cater to a diverse range of age groups.
Howard Park includes a fenced infant area, play equipment suitable for school-age children (including slides and a huge climbing net), as well as a half basketball court and outdoor ping pong tables for the older kids.
The park is landscaped to provide shade from the sun and also features seated areas and water drinking fountains.
Howard Park is located in the heart of the suburb, between the newly opened Gregory Hills Town Centre and the site of the future Gregory Hills Public School.
Dart West senior development manager Michael Saccsa said he had high hopes for the park.
"Howard Park will be the bustling centre of the Gregory Hills community," he said.
"Located right in the centre of Gregory Hills, all residents will enjoy its diversity and urban feel.
"We can't wait for the residents of Gregory Hills, along with the greater regional community, to come and check it out."
