A huge crowd of Macarthur locals and visitors joined together to celebrate the winter solstice in Ingleburn on Friday night.
Into the Night was a special community party held on Ingleburn's Oxford Road on the shortest day of the year, June 21.
Highlights included an outdoor synthetic ice skating rink, live music, a heated outdoor dining precinct, stargazing and the unveiling of Little Point artist Jess Pound's colourful street mural.
A piano that has been gifted to Ingleburn Village was also unveiled on Friday night. Local Lauren Azar performed a variety of music on the piano.
Into the Night formed part of Campbelltown Council's Love Ingleburn place-making projects.
Mayor George Brticevic said the event was a great night of entertainment and family fun.
"This event will help local businesses and the community to thrive and foster that sense of village and community that people enjoy most about Ingleburn," he said.
