Wollondilly residents will have a chance to discover more about the Warragamba Inclusive Play Space next Saturday.

Wollondilly Council will hold an information session on Saturday, July 6 from 11am at Weir Road, Warrgamba.

Attendees can see what is happening on site and ask questions about the project.

The inclusive play space will include a large climbing net, a wheelchair accessible carousel, flying fox, swings, water play area, musical items and more.

Council's acting director, infrastructure and environment, Mike Nelson said council had directly managed the play space's construction since May.

"The community has been looking forward to the completion of the project for some time," he said.

"We'd like to give people a chance to come and chat and get a feel for what the facility will look like when it is finished."

The play space is scheduled to open in late 2019.
