Minto's Fruit Orchard wins Best Large Business Award

Minto's Fruit Orchard has been recognised as one of state's top stores.

The Minto store was named Best Large Business at the 2019 Sydney Markets Fresh Awards.

Minto's Fruit Orchard beat Caringbah's Best Fresh Grover, Chatswood's Fruitezy Marketplace and Rose Bay's Parisi's Food Hall to win the honour.

The Macarthur business was also a finalist in the 2019 Greengrocer of the Year category, which was won by Kareela Grocer, Kareela.

The awards recognise the best greengrocers, florists, growers, wholesalers and fresh bloggers from across NSW and the ACT.

Sydney Markets Fresh Awards manager Sue Dodd said this year's finalists had "once again raised the bar".

"Our fresh award winners are some of the heroes of our industry," she said.

"In an ever-changing society, these local businesses have remained the cornerstones of our communities because they have adapted and maintained their relevance to modern consumers.

"These businesses are a credit to themselves and to the industry in general.

"They work tirelessly to deliver top quality produce, customer service and value for money."

Mount Annan business Eden Flower Studio also won the Retail Presentation award.

Eden Flower Studio beat Monterey's B&M Florist, Morisset's Bella Floral Boutique and Erskineville's The Floral Decorator to win the award.

Eden Flower Studio and Narellan's Bunch It With Country were also finalists in the Merchandising and Branding, and Service Excellence categories.

The Mount Annan business was also a finalist in the Florist of the Year awards.

Rossmore's Vegie King was a finalist in the Produce Grower of the Year category.
