Three Macarthur teens have been praised for their refereeing skills.
The Group 6 Rugby League Referees Association has acknowledged the work of Eliza Kelly, Amanda Dawson and Chloe Gerrard, who officiated a junior final on the weekend.
Bargo's Eliza (referee), Appin's Amanda and Mount Annan's Chloe (touch judges) allowed for an open and free-flowing match in the under-12As match between Camden and Narellan, which was won by Narellan.
A Group 6 Rugby League Referees Association spokesman commended the trio for only awarding four penalties during the match.
The local referees association is always looking for new members and is especially keen for more female referees to become involved.
