There are few acts more iconic or ubiquitous than David Bowie, Elton John and Rod Stewart.
The British performers took the world by storm in the 1970s and 1980s.
Their music has provided the soundtrack to countless lives across the globe and now locals have a chance to hear their songs in person by some of the world's best tribute performers.
The British Invasion show, celebrating the music of Bowie, John and Stewart, is coming to Campbelltown Catholic Club's The Cube on Saturday, October 12.
Tribute performers Jeff Duff (Bowie), Lance Strauss (John) and Rob Caudill (Stewart) will take to the stage and transport the crowd to a bygone era.
Duff told the Advertiser British Invasion was a show local fans of the talented trio could not afford to miss.
"We don't know when we'll be back again," the Aussie artist said.
"I've got my own Bowie show and Lance and Rob are both touring all the time, including Las Vegas."
Duff said he fell into performing Bowie's incredible repertoire.
"I guess it made sense to come to me for Bowie, as a tall, thin and white musician," he said. "I'm also known for wearing outrageous outfits as well.
"While I've never been an impersonator, and I'm not going on stage as David Bowie, I do wear some interesting outfits that's in the same vein."
Duff said it was Bowie's wide variety of classic tunes that kept people interested in him so many decades after his emergence on the music scene.
"It's the songs, they're a big part of what audiences grew up with," he said.
"Most of the audience always recognises the big hits like Let's Dance, China Girl and Young Americans.
"But then he's got the Ziggy Stardust stuff - there's so much good music."
Duff said he greatly enjoyed having the opportunity to tour with other incredible musicians.
He said Strauss (who is beloved the world over for his Elton John tribute act Elton Jack) and Caudill were wonderful touring partners.
Duff said the backing band was also a joy to work with night after night.
