Andrew Bogut appears to have evaded any potential suspension before Australia's bronze medal basketball World Cup battle with France on Sunday.
The Boomers centre's frustrations boiled over following Friday's double overtime loss to Spain with a foul-mouthed spray as he walked to the dressing room.
Bogut was reported as saying: "We all know where FIBA's headquarters is. It's a f***ing disgrace. Cheating ass motherf***ers... Google where headquarters of f***ing FIBA is... f***ing disgrace".
He had earlier rubbed his fingers together in a money gesture after a dubious foul was called on him that allowed Spain to take the lead in the final seconds of regulation time.
It was expected the former NBA star would face a fine or suspension, but as of Sunday afternoon FIBA had not confirmed to AAP that an investigation had even taken place.
Basketball Australia, who haven't publicly commented on his outburst, told AAP they too had heard nothing from FIBA.
The Australians were shattered after the loss, assistant coach and former star centre Luc Longley colourfully expressing his frustrations post-game.
"I feel stabbed in the heart by that .. I don't know what we've got to do," he said.
"We've got to find an altar somewhere and burn a sacrifice to the basketball gods, 'cause they're not kissing us on the d**k yet, like they do Spain."
The team has since done their best to refocus for a shot at a maiden international medal against a team they beat 100-98 in Nanjing on Monday.
The Boomers have lost four previous bronze medal games, all in Olympic competition and most recently by one point to Spain in Brazil three years ago.
"To see how much that hurt everybody, I have the confidence that this group will be able to well and truly refocus and I get our energy back ... and come out with a bit of a fire in the belly on Sunday to deliver a medal," coach Andrej Lemanis said.
