The Wollondilly Summer Beach Bus will be up and running again in January 2020.

Due to the bus' popularity last summer, in 2020 there will be two hop on, hop off buses travelling on two separate routes; one leaving from Bargo and one from Warragamba, including a new stop at Oakdale.

The buses will travel to Wollongong North Beach on January 3, 10, 17, 22 and 24.

Wollondilly Council's chief executive Ben Taylor said the service had grown every year.

"The second bus and extended route has been made possible due to the generous financial support of SIMEC Mining." he said.

"This is a great local partnership between SIMEC, Picton Buslines, and council, providing residents with free access to the beach on some of the hottest summer days."

The Beach Bus is for residents of all ages. Opal Cards for Appin beach goers will be available from the Appin Pharmacy.
