Three of Macarthur's rising soccer stars have laced up their boots and packed their suitcases to represent Australia in Fiji.
Campbelltown's Marcus Crossling, Bargo's Dominic Guido and Raby's Sam Glinatsis will play on the Macarthur Football Association's under 14 side in the Ultimate Fiji Soccer Cup 2019.
The boys are currently in Fiji for the two-week event which will finish on Saturday, December 14.
Dominic said he was "excited and proud" to be heading overseas.
"The is my first time participating in the Fiji Cup," he said.
"I am looking forward to meeting other players from other countries and playing against them."
Marcus said he felt honoured and looked forward to representing Australia.
"I am nervous about the competition as I know the quality of the football over there but I am excited at the same time," he said.
"I am looking forward to the whole experience."
Sam said he also felt honoured to be wearing the green and gold on behalf of his country.
This is Sam's second time competing in the prestigious competition.
"I am a bit nervous abut the competition and a bit nervous about representing my country," he said.
"I am looking forward to experiencing the different style of football in the competition and the thrill of playing against players from another country as well as representing my country."
The boys have played soccer for more than five years and recommended the sport to other young locals.
