Celta Vigo were held to a 2-2 draw at home to relegation rivals Mallorca in Spain's La Liga.
Former Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara sent the hosts ahead at Balaidos when he headed home in the 20th minute on Sunday.
But Salva Sevilla equalised from the penalty spot 13 minutes later when Aidoo shoved over Ante Budimir in the area.
Celta Vigo regained the lead five minutes after the interval, Iago Aspas netting a spot-kick of his own after Cucho felled Lucas Olaza.
Mallorca saw Antonio Raillo sent off for his second yellow card in the 78th minute but Budimir equalised shortly afterwards.
Celta would have risen above Mallorca with a win but remain 18th on 14 points, while Mallorca are one place and one point above them after 17 matches each.
Earlier, Getafe moved fourth after beating Real Valladolid 2-0 with goals from Marc Cucurella and substitute Angel Rodriguez.
Jose Bordalas's side is again defying expectations after last season surprisingly qualifying for the Europa League, in which they reached the last 32 this week.
"Today was another great victory against a very tricky Valladolid side," said Bordalas.
"Despite the huge effort we made on Thursday [in the Europa League], the team was fighting, competing and bringing hope to everyone."
