Here's your chance to see a fantastic Australian show and support hard-working firefighters.

Bargo Sports Club will welcome iconic Aussie performers The Black Sorrows for a special fire relief concert this Saturday, January 25.

Club manager Ben McCall said it was wonderful that the band, led by Joe Camilleri, wanted to help out.

"On the Monday following the fires in Bargo we contacted the management group of The Black Sorrows and asked if they would be able to help us in raising some funds for the local RFS teams," he said.

"Joe Camilleri sent a message back straight away, to say that they would fully support us in making the happen.

"So on the Saturday the 25th, Bargo Sports Club and The Black Sorrows will be donating all door proceeds from The Black Sorrows gig towards our local RFS crews.

"Crews we will be raising the funds for will be Bargo, Yanderra, Buxton, Pheasants Nest and Yerrinbool."

Tickets to the 18+ show are $40 and the club will also be accepting donations on the night. Mr McCall said there were "no words that can thank [the RFS] enough for all their efforts" and this concert was for them.

"It goes without saying how truly special it is to have heroes in our community like we do."
