Craft brewers will descend on Ambarvale Hotel next month to tickle the tastebuds of beer lovers across the region.
The hotel will host the return of its craft beer festival, South West Beer Fest, on Saturday, March 7.
The newly renovated and and now uber-contemporary local pub will start the beers and cheers to start flowing from noon until 6pm.
Parras Hospitality Group general manager Damian Burcher encouraged everyone to come along to the event.
"We're thrilled that South West Beer Fest is returning in 2020 to the hotel and to the Macarthur region," he said.
"We're passionate about craft beer, and this festival allows us to connect with the local community and a broader audience of beer enthusiasts."
Festival attendees will be able to sample craft beer from 11 local breweries, including Ambarvale Brewing Company, Six String Brewing Co., Stone & Wood, Willie the Boatman, Capital Brewing Co., Eden Brewery, Hope Estate, Akasha Brewing Company, Bondi Beer, Fixation Brewing Co. and The Beer Shed.
The inaugural South West Beer Fest was a huge success at the Ambarvale Hotel in 2019.
The Ambarvale Hotel holds its own on-site micro-brewery - Ambarvale Brewing Company - and has now produced four of its own craft beers: Pete's Pacific Ale, Woodhouse Lager, an IPA and a Pale Ale.
Hotel marketing manager Tim Miller told the Advertiser last year Pete's Pacific Ale and the Woodhouse Lager have become firm favourites of hotel's regulars.
"Pete's has become one of our best sellers, the patrons love it," Mr Miller said.
"We're passionate about craft beer here and our goal with this festival is to continue to grow craft beer appreciation in the Macarthur region."
The festival will be held on the lawn of the Ambarvale Hotel on Woodhouse Drive.
Entry to the event is free.
Food on the day will be provided by Goodtime Burgers and El Topo.
There'll also be plenty of entertainment on offer and local DJs performing throughout the day.
