Severe thunderstorms for Victoria's fire-ravaged northeast have been called off.
The Bureau of Meteorology has cancelled the warning for heavy rainfall in East Gippsland and northeast districts on Saturday.
"The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary," the alert reads.
It comes after the warning covering the Mallee and northern country was also lifted.
Almost 30mm of rain fell at Mt Useful, of which 23mm fell in just 25 minutes, with fairly large storms in the far east of the state, the weather bureau told AAP.
Drizzle fell across central parts of the state in the afternoon, with 2.4mm falling in Melbourne, after storms lashed the outer eastern and southeastern suburbs on Friday.
Even parts of Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley had a drenching on Friday.
The State Emergency State warns people to stay clear of fallen powerlines, never go through floodwaters and avoid fallen trees.
