Cyclist dies in head-on collision at Ingleburn

A cyclist has died and another cyclist has been hospitalised following a head-on collision in Ingleburn last night.

Emergency services were called to Harold Street, Ingleburn at 11.10pm (Wenesday, February 19) following reports two cyclists were involved in a crash.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene and treated a 49-year-old man, however, he could not be revived.

Another man, aged in his 20s, was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Campbelltown City Police Area Command officers established a crime scene and initiated investigations into the circumstances behind the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
