Wild weather lashes Macarthur: Share your pics

Winds of nearly 70 kilometres per hour lashed parts of Macarthur overnight.

Many residents reported loss of power in their suburbs, fallen trees and trampolines making trips across their backyard.

The Bureau of Meterology reported that some areas of Macarthur experienced more than 50 millimetres of rain over the past 24 hours.

It was also reported that suburbs across Campbelltown experienced wind gusts of up too 69 kilometres per hour last night.

Areas in Camden also experienced wind gusts up to 59 kilometres per hour.

Macarthur Storm Chasers reported that Douglas Park Gorge was underwater and multiple trees were down in Buxton, Austral, Orangeville, Leppington, Menangle and Eagle Vale.

Power outages were reported in Eagle Vale, East Campbelltown, Bardia and Leumeah.

Traffic Lights were also blacked out on Waminda Avenue in Campbelltown.

The Bureau of Meterology has predicted more rain today.
