Construction work is now under way at Oran Park's first residential apartment complex.
The seven-storey Metro Apartments building will be made up of 53 apartments along with secure, underground car parking and is expected to be finished in early 2022.
Greenfields Developments director Mark Perich said the new apartment building was a welcome addition to the growing suburb.
"There has been particular interest in the ground floor apartments with their courtyards and of course, the penthouses and upper levels with views to the Northern lake system are proving popular," Mr Perich said.
"Several apartments have already been sold with the current government incentives of around $69,000 being a significant factor."
Luisa Roccisano has already secured her apartment in the new complex.
"The Metro sits alongside Julia Creek Reserve, so has a lovely connection to this wonderful greenspace, and of course, being opposite the future railway station will be very convenient," she said.
Oran Park is already home to a six-storey commercial building known as TRN House.
The office building is located adjacent to the Metro building.
The architects who built TRN House, Allen, Jack and Cottier are also responsible for designing the apartment complex.
The same builder, Richard Crookes, has also been engaged to build The Metro.
Richard Crookes' Michael Ryan said the build would take place over an 18-month period.
"This is a premium development with sophisticated finishes and fit-out, so we have a slightly longer than normal construction phase to ensure a quality outcome," he said.
"Because the project will employ up to 550 workers, over 40 trades throughout the 18-month building program, attention to detail is paramount."
Oran Park Town sales manager Jeff Webb said early interest in the new apartment complex had been strong.
"Early interest in the Metro Apartments and subsequent off-the-plan sales have been very encouraging," he said.
"We have received excellent customer feedback on the Metro - from its premium position in the heart of the developing town centre, the stylish architecture and quality of internal finishes and inclusions."
The Metro display suite is open and located in the Oran Park Town Sales Office on the corner of Peter Brock Drive and Oran Park Town Drive.
