Celebrate International Women's Day in Campbelltown

International Women's Day is just around the corner and Campbelltown Council has a number of activities planned to celebrate.
Locals can sign up to a number of activities running from March 8-12, including art workshops, yoga in the park, library workshops and more.
Campbelltown mayor George Brticevic said it was important to celebrate the contributions and achievements of local women for International Women's Day.
"International Women's Day is an opportunity to celebrate the women in our community who make a difference to our city and in our own lives," he said.
"Campbelltown is fortunate to have many outstanding women who hold leadership roles in government, business and community organisations who are an inspiration to the next generation.
"We have a great line up of events for women starting on International Women's Day and continuing throughout the week."
Planned events include Getting Down to Business, an interactive event facilitated by Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce president Tamlyn Van Zyst and local entrepreneur Nancy Trieu at the Campbelltown Arts Centre Performance Studio on Monday, March 8 from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Women can also sign up to Yoga in the Park sessions which will be held the same day at Koshigaya Park, Campbelltown, on March 9 at Redfern Park, Minto and March 10 at Hallinan Park, Ingleburn.

- Upcycled jewellery making - March 9
- Mums and Bubs group fitness class - March 10 and 12
- Dungeons and Dragons: Exclusive Access Dungeon - March 11
- Mumma Makers craft workshop - March 11
- Macrame Workshop - March 11
- Galmatic car maintenance workshop - March 12
- Musical performances at the On Q space in the Campbeltown CBD - March 8-12
