A woman has been charged with reckless wounding following an alleged domestic related incident in Minto last week. Emergency services were called to a unit at Minto Road, Minto, following reports a man had suffered a stab wound to the chest at 1.10pm on Friday, February 26. Police say officers located a 23-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man with stab wounds upon arrival. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition. Campbelltown City Police Area Command officers attended and established a crime scene. Police say when officers attempted to arrest the woman, she allegedly became aggressive, pushing a female officer to the ground. The woman was then arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station where police say she was charged with reckless wounding (DV), assault officer in execution of duty and resist officer in execution of duty. She was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday, February 27 2021. She remains before the courts. Police say the 23-year-old man has also been charged following further investigations into the domestic-related stabbing. About 5pm yesterday, The man was released from hospital and taken to Campbelltown Police Station at 5pm on Friday, February 26. He was charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic) and destroy of damage property (DV). The Campbelltown man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday, February 27 2021.
